Our History
Since 1907
a story of land and freedom
On 7 April 1907, inspired by the vision of Gerolamo Pinna, an enlightened teacher and socialist, the Cooperativa Agricola Tissesewas founded. Today, it is one of the oldest agricultural cooperatives in Italy.
It was established as a workers’ cooperative and as a means of emancipation for agricultural labourers and farm workers, at a time when working the land was marked by deep inequalities and dependence on large landowners.
The collective purchase of land marked the beginning of a new chapter. These lands, acquired through hard work and shared commitment, were gradually transformed into vineyards, creating a heritage that still belongs to the Cooperative and its community today.
More than a century later, those vineyards continue to produce our wines. Wines that tell not only the story of a territory, but also preserve the memory of those who believed in the land as a source of work, dignity, and opportunity for future generations.

Since 1907, our approach to winemaking has been rooted in the land and in the desire to tell its story with authenticity.
For us, every vineyard is an expression of a place: its history, its soils, and the seasons that shape it. We observe, listen to, and preserve this heritage, working with respect so that each wine retains the character and identity of the land from which it originates.
More than a century of harvests has taught us that quality is not dictated by trends. It is built on balance, care, and consistency; on choices that withstand the test of time; and on wines that, year after year, continue to express their origins with honesty and authenticity.
